Calgary Beerfest Contest – Jasper Adventure Weekend Sweepstakes – Terms & Conditions

By submitting an entry to the Sweepstakes (“Jasper Adventure Weekend”), you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Rules, Terms and Conditions, and the decisions of Albeerta Provisions, and that you satisfy all eligibility requirements.

 

Details and How to Enter:

Between Friday, May 3 to Saturday, May 4, 2019, contest entrants must fill out a complete ballot provided by the hosting establishment to enter to win a weekend vacation, care of Albeerta Provisions. One vacation prizes will be awarded over the course of the full contest running length. No purchase necessary to enter.  Purchase of an Albeerta Provisions and/or Bearhill Brewing Co., and the associated brew pubs, product will not increase chances of winning.

 

The prize vacation consists of for each winner and their guest:

  • Vacation weekend to occur from Thursday, March 12th to Sunday, March 15th, 2020
  • 3, nights accommodation at The Crimson hotel in downtown Jasper, AB, Canada
  • 1, days worth of lift tickets, and rental packages (as required) at Marmot Basin Ski Resort
  • 1, evening Day-Pass entrance to the Jasper Park Lodge Spa area including access to hot tub, sauna and pool (introduction night)
  • 3, days worth of transportation to and from The Crimson Hotel to the giveaway weekend activity locations (Marmot Basin Ski Resort, SunDog Great Race at Maligne Lake including snowshoeing introduction, and Jasper Park Lodge visit)
  • 1, Jasper Great Race at Maligne Lake including snowshoeing introduction provided by SunDog Tours (equipment included with light lunch and beverages)
  • 1, Jasper Brewing Company tour with meal and beverage included

 

The estimated total retail value for each vacation weekend is $2650.00 plus applicable taxes (two people included in this retail value). The contest will run from 3:00 PM, MST, on Friday, May 3, 2019 to 10:00 PM, MST, Saturday, May 4, 2019. The winner will be selected by an Albeerta Provisions representative around Friday, March 10, 2019 at 12:00 PM, MST. We will contact the winner via email and/or phone and require prompt response. The winner has up to 7 days from the initial contact to respond. After the 7 days if the winner does not respond, we will move on to another winner. All winners will be selected by random draw. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period.

 

Rules:

The entrant and the guest they select to join them during the Sweepstakes prize weekend must be the age of 18 years or older on or at the time of the contest entry, reside in Alberta, Canada, and must be of permanent Canadian residency during the prize weekend dates of March 12th to 15th of 2020. No purchase necessary to enter. Purchase of an Albeerta Provisions and/or Bearhill Brewing Co., and the associated brew pubs, product will not increase chances of winning. Skill Testing Question on the ballot entry form must be completed for legal

 

Eligibility:

The entrant and the guest they select to join them during the Sweepstakes prize weekend must be the age of 18 years or older on or at the time of the contest entry, and of legal drinking age for the province in which they reside and must be of permanent Canadian residency during the prize weekend dates of March 12th to 15th of 2020. We require that the winners, once selected, sign a release for the Sweepstakes vacation prize for them and their friend. No purchase necessary to enter.

 

Privacy Policy:

Albeerta Provisions will not sell, distribute and/or use your information that has been otherwise provided for the purpose of the Sweepstakes. Entrant must check the agreement box on the ballot form to receive promotional emails from Albeerta Provisions and/or the Bearhill Brewing Co. associated brew pubs. The subscriber has the right to unsubscribe at any time.

 

Confidentiality:

The contest entrant’s information will only be used for the sole purpose of the contest enclosed, and any communications made by Albeerta Provisions, Bearhill Brewing Company, and/or Bearhill Brewing Company’s brewpubs can only be done should the entrant check the communications agreement box on the ballot itself. Your information will never be sold to anyone. You can unsubscribe easily from Albeerta Provisions, Bearhill Brewing Company, and/or Bearhill Brewing Company’s brewpubs’ communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the bottom right of our emails.

 

The personal information collected from each entrant in the course of the Sweepstakes will be used by Albeerta Provisions for the purposes of administration of the Sweepstakes and as otherwise permitted in accordance with Albeerta Provisions’s Privacy Policy. Albeerta Provisions reserves the right to alter any rules of any sweepstakes at anytime. Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by SunDog Tours or Marmot Basin, nor are SunDog Tours or Marmot Basin associated with the Albeerta Provisions in any way. You understand that you are providing information to the Albeerta Provisions and not to SunDog Tours or Marmot Basin. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes must be directed to the Albeerta Provisions or Administrator, and not to SunDog Tours or Marmot Basin.

 

Arbitration:

This Sweepstakes shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the province of Alberta, without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. By participating, entrants agree that any and all disputes arising out of or relating in any way to this Sweepstakes shall be litigated only in courts sitting in Alberta, Canada.

 

Terms:

Employees of Albeerta Provisions, and/or the Bearhill Brewing Company breweries and brew pubs (the “Albeerta Provisions”), its respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, distributors, merchants involved with this Sweepstakes, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes governed by law. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

 

Albeerta Provisions, Bearhill Brewing Company and their breweries and brewpubs, The Crimson hotel (Mountain Park Lodges group), SunDog Tour Co., or Marmot Basin Ski Resort, are not responsible or to be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, passings, and/or all other losses financial or physical during the contest entry and/or during the Sweepstakes weekend for any winners and their guests. We will not be provided traveler’s or personal insurances throughout the Sweepstakes weekend. The winners and their guests are to provide their own insurances should they require this. Albeerta Provisions will not be providing transportation to and/or from Jasper, AB, Canada for the Sweepstakes weekend. The winners and their guests will be responsible for finding their own means of transportation to and from The Crimson Hotel, Jasper, AB, at the beginning and end of the Sweepstakes prize weekend.

 

Jasper Park Lodges are not an official partner of the ‘Jasper Adventure Weekend’ and though are aware of the events to take place, and itinerary, are not in association with the promotion at this time. They will not be held liable for the promotion or sweepstakes activations or events prior to or during the Sweepstakes prize vacation weekend.

 

All winners will be required to provide proof of residency and age during the signage of a release, including their selected guest to join them for the Sweepstakes prize vacation weekend. The prize and/or any components of the prize are not available for rebate, cash in lieu, refund, credit, or rainchecks of any kind. There will not be any substitutions for the Sweepstakes prize weekend dates and/or the scheduled prize itineraries. No gift certificates will be given or to be used.

 

Albeerta Provisions is not associated with The Crimson hotel (Mountain Park Lodges group), Alberta Beer Festivals, SunDog Tour Co., or Marmot B­­asin Ski Resort, or any establishments hosting any events on behalf of Albeerta Provisions and/or Bearhill Brewing Co., and their affiliated brew pubs/breweries.
